The theme for SCAP 2021 is “Psychological Well-being”. We invite researchers and practitioners from all fields of psychology research and practice to present and discuss recent innovations, trends, concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Applied Psychology, with a special focus on ‘Psychological Well-Being’. This can include clinical and non-clinical psychological well-being and we encourage submissions that cross disciplines, for example psychological well-being in education and the workplace.

This masterclass series is designed for anyone who creates or implements systems, processes, or communications for students. It is primarily designed for people working at U.S.-based four-year colleges and universities, but others who work on college success efforts are welcome to apply and may be admitted if space is available.

Our keynote speakers include Rory Sutherland (Vice Chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising), Ilana RItov (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) and Gaëlle Vallée-Tourangeau (President-elect EADM). There will also be a special guest appearance by Daniel Kahneman, who will field questions about his forthcoming book Noise (co-written by Oliver Sibony and Cass Sunstein).

Kurt and Tim, along with an additional co-author, are combining dozens of podcast interviews conducted during the pandemic with their client work and observations to help leaders manage their way through the uncertain times we're in.

This workshop will be dedicated to advances in experimental economics combining laboratory and field-experimental methodologies with theoretical and psychological insights on decision-making, strategic interaction and policy. We would invite papers in lab experiments, field experiments and their combination that test theory, demonstrate the importance of psychological phenomena, and explore social and policy issues. In addition to senior faculty members, invited presenters will include junior faculty as well as graduate students.
