Applied Behavioral Science Professional

Someone whose primary job is using applied behavioral science to establish projects, create interventions, and impact end-user behavior

The goal of the Behavioral Science Professional is to lead the application of Behavioral Science at an organization. 

 

Professionals are owners and key stakeholders in the process of designing, developing, and executing behavioral science projects that generate significant business value. This skillset opens the individual to a career as a full-time behavioral scientist/researcher.

The standards have been developed in five skillset pillars:

  1. Domain Knowledge

  2. Research Methods & Impact Assessments

  3. Intervention Design

  4. Communication

  5. Ethics

​

Below, you will see details of each of the five pillars of standards for the Applied Behavioral Science Professional. The skillsets with a light blue background also serve as the baseline knowledge for the Behavioral Science Associate. The skillsets with the dark blue background serve as the additional areas of expertise necessary for the Applied Behavioral Science Professional
